JOIN OUR TUESDAY TEEN CLASS

Classes start September 3rd for the 2024/2025 year

Here is what your teen will learn:

  • Learn how to be self sufficient through entrepreneurship, gardening, and herbology, and homesteading

  • Courage and confidence as they face challenges

  • Learn how to make an impact in the world

  • Learn from good books that will inspire them to love and seek truth

  • Love and communication with people

  • Build good habits that will bring joy

  • Leadership skills that will last a lifetime

  • Learn how to start their own real business to start making money now

  • Build lasting friendships

Class 1 - Literature

- Each month we will have a new book to read that will inspire them in their own lives. We will discuss and do a monthly project on the book

Class 2 - Horticulture/Homesteading

- We will be learning about herbs and how to use them, and we will be learning about permaculture and gardening so they can learn to grow their own produce. We will also learn different homesteading skills that they can use to be self-sufficient.

Class 3 - Entrepreneurship

- We want to help our youth be successful and make their dreams come true so we will be focusing on helping them start their own business and develop business skills to help them make their business successful.

Class 4 - Ropes Course

- This class will be teaching them how to overcome challenges, develop courage, and teamwork.

Class 5 - Service

- We will be doing service projects and finding ways to love and serve others

Class time will be on Tuesdays from 12:00 - 3:30 pm at the CLAS Ropes Course or on a field trip in Provo during the warmer days and will be from 12:00 - 3:00 pm at a warm location in Provo/Springville area on the colder days. If there is inclement weather where we cannot travel, we will have an online option.

Here is a sample of what the schedule will look like on Tuesdays when at the Ropes Course

12:00 pm - Welcome Class Time

12:30 - 1:30 pm - Focus Class

  • Week 1 and Week 3 - Entrepreneurship

  • Week 2 - Horticulture

  • Week 4 - Literature Discussion and Project

1:30 - 3:30 pm - Ropes course, field trip, or other activity - When at the ropes course, we will be doing different ropes course activities, one that is on the ground and one that is up high.

Cold/Winter days will be held at a warm location in Provo/Springville area or we will have a field trip during class time.

How to reserve your spot:

2: Become a member of Sierra Leadership Academy by paying the one time $50 membership donation and $600 donation tuition fee per child. Payment option will be emailed once you sign up.

The Class fee is $600 for the year for each teen that is registered and will be due at time of registration. The class is for teens 13-18 years old.
